Working with Academia

About three years ago I went to the University of Nottingham to give an invited lecture and also met Ted Nelson (father of hypertext). We had a great lunch where we discussed the Memex etc.

One of the guys I met at the lunch came to visit us at the Trexy stand at the WWW2006 conference and through some sort of weird serendipity told me that he had just completed his PhD on search trails. We've decided to work together on various research projects including an optimal algorithm for ranking trails.

I'm also working with the University of Edinburgh and hopefully Birkbeck here in London. If you're an academic interested in search trails research - now is the time to get in touch!
