Nige and Sven have done a great job of moving Trexy across to it's very own cluster. We are now ready to do the final round of killing bugs.
Rena is about to have her first solo trailblazing experience. She is very excited to blaze and see her trail appear in the Trexy results.

Big Changes - Corporate Structuring
Seismic shifts are happening in the force! We're splitting in two. Turbo10 and Trexy will form two new companies. We're doing this for multiple reasons: clarity, protection, taxation, risk management and potential acquisition. There's lots to think about. But the sentiments of my old intellectual property (IP) lecturers and mentors are ringing in my ears the loudest. IP is the bedrock of our business and from the outset Meg and I have protected and grown our most valuable asset for the benefit of both businesses. As a result we've come up with an optimal structure and the lawyers are in favour.
In my previous life I worked as a baby barrister in IP law and it's been great to draw on this experience. Meg is also a qualified barrister and I had the great honour of moving her admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland in Australia. We normally handle all the legal documentation for the business ourselves - but there is an old saying, "a barrister who represents himself has a fool for a client." And given the legal complexities it's been great to seek help from other lawyers. Ok. Enough of the legalities - it's back to the technicalities.

Brainstorming a Trexy Slogan
Both Rena and Sven had a look at the Trexy website today. It was great to get their feedback.
One thing they both suggested is a Trexy slogan to communicate concisely what it actually does and differentiate it from other search engines.
We had a brainstorming session to come up with a slogan.
First, we came up with ideas individually and then we shared these in the group. As we shared the slogans, we categorised them into three groups:

- Yes
- No
- Maybe
This helped to narrow our focus on Trexy's unique elements.
We need a concise way to say:
- you can blaze trails on search engines like Google and Yahoo
- Trexy remembers where you've searched and found information
- you can follow in the footsteps of other anonymous searchers who have already found what you're looking for, and
- sharing trails saves time and effort for everyone
Some of the best slogans we came up with include:
Find, remember and share your search trails
Find, remember and follow your search trails
Find, remember and follow shared search trails
Remember, follow and share your search trails
Remember and share your search trails
Remember and follow search trails
Create, follow and share search trails
Find, follow and share your search trails
Lead, follow and share search trails
We are all going to have a think about it and see what Nigel thinks when he gets back from Tenby in Wales.
